🎙️Max Rushden & David O'Doherty Launch New Comedy Pod: "What Did You Do Yesterday?"

Launching on Sunday 1st September, What Did You Do Yesterday? is the new podcast from broadcaster Max Rushden and comedian David O'Doherty where they ask guests – quite literally – 'what did you do yesterday?'

Familiar faces from the world of comedy and entertainment open up their schedules for forensic analysis by Max and David.

From the mundane to the chaotic, they're after every detail of their guests' days: Making porridge with chia seeds at 9am because you read it'll help keep death at bay? Giving your cats their daily affirmations at 12pm? Trying (and failing) to find anchovies at two different supermarkets at 6pm? It's all in – as long it was yesterday.

Throughout the series, they discover just how funny, moving, entertaining and poignant the minutiae of day-to-day life can be.

David O'Doherty is a comedian and writer from Dublin. A former winner of the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe, he has appeared on TV shows such as Cats Does Countdown, Would I Lie To You? and Conan O'Brien. He used to work in a bike shop and is reputed to own nineteen bikes.

Max Rushden is a nice man who lives in Melbourne with his wife and son Ian Rush(den). He is a surprisingly experienced broadcaster. He hosts the Guardian Football Weekly, the Warm Up on Talksport and now The Project on Channel 10 in Australia. He is credited with launching* Soccer AM, BBC Radio Five Live, BBC London, BBC One, BT Sport, Channel 4 and all TV coverage of the Champions League. He’s won some awards, but literally anyone who’s done this for long enough has accidentally done that. He has been tired since 1996. He likes peanut butter and going to bed. He is a former target man who now plays in holding midfield. *Being on

Neither Max nor David can remember how they first met. All they know is they enjoy each others company.
