ARNâs iHeart, in partnership with BlakCast Podcast Network, is excited to announce the launch of âAccess Granted with Lowanna Grantâ, a new podcast series featuring candid conversations with some of Australia and Aotearoaâs most influential and recognisable personalities.
Hosted by proud Wiradjuri and Western Arrernte woman, Lowanna Grant, Access Granted promises to offer listeners an exclusive gateway into stories of resilience, representation, and ambition from some of their favourite household names, with guests for season one including media personality Brooke Blurton, songwriter Troy Cassar-Daley and presenter, journalist and Lowannaâs mother Karla Grant.
The series seeâs Lowanna bring her journalistic expertise and unique perspective to each episode, with her decade plus of broadcasting and presenting experience (NITV, SBS Australia) serving for thoughtful, engaging conversations that delve deeper into the lives of her guests.
Each episode promises to move beyond traditional interviews, revealing untold stories and heartfelt moments in a relaxed, authentic atmosphere where both laughter and vulnerability are encouraged, ensuring listeners connect with the personalities featured. The start of every interview begins with a simple question âtell us something we donât know about you or that might surprise us,â and from there, a truly unique conversation follows.
The first two episodes have dropped, the first episode with Lowanna herself, where she pulls back the curtain on who she is - a woman grounded in culture, driven by connection, and passionate about sharing stories that matter. From her love of health, fitness, and wellbeing to the lessons passed down by her family, she shares the values and experiences that shapes how she sees the world.
In the second episode released this morning, Lowanna chats with Brooke Blurton, who discusses the labels that media has put on her, the pressures she has felt as a proud Indigenous woman and her struggles with mental health and grief while being in the spotlight.
Speaking on the launch of her new podcast, Access Granted host Lowanna Grant said, âAs a proud Wiradjuri and Western Arrernte woman, storytelling and sharing knowledge is in my blood. Access Granted was born from a deep desire to sit down with some of Australia and Aotearoaâs most influential voices and dive into conversations that go beyond the surface. This podcast is about breaking the façade and uncovering stories of resilience, representation and ambition and creating space for yarns that people may not have heard before. Iâm incredibly proud to partner with ARN and BlakCast to amplify these voices and share stories that connect, empower and leave a lasting impact.â
BlakCast Podcast Network Founder Mundanara Bayles added, âWe are proud to support the launch of Access Granted with Lowanna Grant. The podcast reflects BlakCastâs focus for 2026, amplifying strong First Nations voices and supporting authentic storytelling that connects, informs and inspires.
Mundanara Bayles, CEO, BlakCast Productions.â
New episodes of Access Granted with Lowanna Grant will be released every Friday, with the first two episodes now available on the free iHeart app or wherever you get your podcasts.
