🎙️Introducing Mixtape to My Future: Stories by Teens for Everyone

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley, in partnership with CitizenRacecar’s award-winning Afterschool Podcasting program, proudly announces the launch of Mixtape to My Future.

“Our intention was to make something like This American Life,” says David Hoffman, CitizenRacecar’s Founder and Principal, “but reported by teenagers in Columbus: a 360-degree look at their lives, entirely from their own perspective. The results are just extraordinary. There’s really no other podcast like it.”

“We are thrilled to launch this teen focused podcast and amplify the voices of the youth in our organization and community”, says Tavari Turner, Vice President at the Boys & Girls Club of the Chattahoochee Valley, “

This platform gives our members an incredible opportunity to share impactful stories, engage in meaningful conversations, and highlight their hopes and dreams for the future as they strive to reach their full potential.”

Through this five-episode season, teens dive into topics that matter most to them—from friendships and mental health to music and community life in Columbus, Georgia. Each episode offers a window into their world, filled with candid conversations, thought-provoking debates, and heartfelt reflections.
