Audacy Podcasts, in partnership with Red Hour and Great Scott, today announced a limited-run batch of new episodes of “The Severance Podcast with Ben Stiller & Adam Scott” – the hit companion podcast to the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning Apple TV+ workplace thriller series. Stiller and Scott will be joined by special guests to unpack the movies, television shows and cultural touchpoints that have influenced the making of “Severance” and answer fan questions.
Five new episodes of “The Severance Podcast” will be released weekly on Thursdays beginning June 26, 2025, everywhere podcasts are available. Listen to the trailer here and follow the show here. In addition, a set of new episodes is slated to be released in Fall 2025.
In Seasons One and Two of “The Severance Podcast,” Stiller and Scott did an episode-by-episode, behind-the-scenes breakdown with the creators, cast, crew, and fans of the TV show. They shared in-depth, never-before-heard analysis, alongside guests including creator Dan Erickson, stars Britt Lower ("Helly"), Zach Cherry ("Dylan"), John Turturro ("Irving"), Christopher Walken ("Bert"), Patricia Arquette ("Cobel") and Tramell Tillman ("Milchick"), and celebrity superfans like SZA, Jon Stewart, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard.
Now, over the course of five new episodes, they will examine creative and cultural touchpoints that influenced them in the making of “Severance” with special guests, including Conan O’Brien, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Allen Stare (host, “Severed: The Ultimate Severance Podcast”), and “Severance” cinematographer and director Jessica Lee Gagne.
Stiller and Scott will also answer listener questions submitted through “The Severance Podcast” hotline (212-830-3816).
“Severance” is set at Lumon Industries, a company whose employees have undergone a medical procedure which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. Mark (Scott) leads a team of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided between their work and personal lives. They begin a journey to discover the truth about their jobs–and themselves. The series also stars Patricia Arquette and Christopher Walken. Stiller was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series for Season 1, and Scott was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series. Scott started the production company Great Scott (formerly Gettin’ Rad) with his producing partner Naomi Scott in 2012.
