The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) announced the winners for the 5th annual Anthem Awards – the largest and most comprehensive social impact award, presented by the Webby Awards.
Notable Gold Anthem Award winners include Andrew Garfield and Sesame Workshop; Ad Council; Sabrina Carpenter x PLUS1; Google; GLAAD; Headspace; Katie Couric and the Colorectal Cancer Alliance; Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty; World Central Kitchen; The Mel Robbins Podcast; Lauren & Seth Rogen and AARP; Lush Cosmetics; Make-A-Wish America; MTV Entertainment Studios; PBS; eBay; Lilly Singh and Unicorn Island Fund; Spotify; ACLU; Lilly starring Patricia Clarkson; Liquid I.V.; and Human Rights Watch, among others. The Anthem Awards also honor select individuals with Special Achievement Awards for their commitment to spurring long-lasting change. They join the ranks of past Special Achievement Winners, including Padma Lakshmi, Gloria Steinem, Kevin Bacon, Misty Copeland, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Billy Porter, Naomi Osaka, Dr. Jane Goodall, Pharrell Williams, Matt Damon, and more.
The 2025 Special Achievement winners include:
Paris Hilton - Advocate of the Year for her powerful use of her platform and voice to champion child protection and philanthropy, and for her pivotal role in the passage of the Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act in December 2024.
Frances Tiafoe - Athlete of the Year for his commitment to the powerful combination of tennis, education and mentorship, giving back to the programs that shaped him, and inspiring the next generation to pursue their dreams on and off the court through the USTA Foundation’s Frances Tiafoe Fund.
Brooke Eby - Impact Creator of the Year for her advocacy in the ALS community, shifting perceptions, sparking important conversations, and galvanizing support for the terminal illness.
Vincent Stanley - Vision Award for his work in shaping Patagonia’s company voice, culture, and conscience as Director of Philosophy, and guidance in weaving environmental and social responsibility into every aspect of the company’s operations.
Tim Gill & Scott Miller - Philanthropists of the Year for their unparalleled impact in advancing LGBTQ+ rights and social justice, and reshaping the landscape of equality through both strategy and generosity.
Public Inc. and Meals On Wheels America’s End The Wait - The Empowerment Award, sponsored by AARP for their powerful campaign, which educated audiences about the hunger crisis facing older Americans, ensuring that the voices, stories, and needs of the 50+ community are seen, heard, and valued.
Joining this year’s Special Achievement Winners are DEPT®, winning Agency of the Year; Google, winning Brand of the Year; AARP, winning Nonprofit of the Year; and Mobilize Recovery, winning Small Nonprofit of the Year.

During this year’s Anthem Community Voice Celebration, more than 35,000 votes were cast to support and celebrate the work of Anthem Finalists. Winners from this year’s fan-selected Celebration include PETA & Leah Kateb; Citi Foundation; World Vision International; Clinton Global Initiative; IFC; Blue State; The Great Elephant Migration; The Metropolitan Museum of Art; and World Economic Forum, among others.
The Anthem Award winners were selected from over 2,000 submissions from 42 countries by leaders in the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences.
