Bloomberg Launches Global Interview Podcast with Veteran Broadcaster Mishal Husain debuts “The Mishal Husain Show” on October 17 as Bloomberg Weekend’s flagship podcast, featuring in-depth conversations with newsmakers, leaders and cultural figures. The series builds on Husain’s existing Bloomberg Weekend interviews launched in May with Elon Musk, which have included UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Shonda Rhimes and Jesse Armstrong. Episodes will appear in both audio and annotated text formats on Bloomberg.com and the Bloomberg Terminal. Bloomberg Weekend executive editor Katherine Bell cited Husain’s curiosity and fearlessness as essential qualities for navigating complex global issues.
Political Analysis Series Expands with Media Mogul Biography Mini-Series The Rest Is Politics launched “Murdoch,” a four-episode mini-series examining Rupert Murdoch’s seven-decade media empire, available exclusively to Plus tier subscribers starting October 10. Murdoch biographer Michael Wolff joins Alastair Campbell—former ally and later target of Murdoch’s press—to explore the intersection of politics, power and media that defined Murdoch’s career. The series traces Murdoch’s trajectory from inheriting a single Australian newspaper to building a global empire spanning Fox News and film studios, examining his influence on world leaders including President Donald Trump. Production company Goalhanger plans an additional “The Rest Is...” series launch for late November.
