In this unique take on the personal storytelling format, Jameela invites comedians, actors, writers, and well-known personalities to share their most hilariously cringe-worthy, disastrous, and utterly non-redemptive stories. Jameela Jamil is a one-of-a-kind multi-hyphenate, first seen on American television starring as Tahani in Mike Schur’s Golden Globe-nominated NBC sitcom The Good Place, opposite Ted Danson and Kristen Bell.
Most recently, Jameela can be heard as Ambassador Questa in the Pixar Feature Film Elio. She can be seen in the upcoming feature for Netflix, People We Meet on Vacation and Netflix’ Christmas movie A Merry Little Ex-Mas opposite Alicia Silverstone and Oliver Hudson, set to be released this fall.

In 2018, Jameela launched a movement and allyship platform called I Weigh – a platform and community of change makers who come together to share ideas, experiences, and ultimately mobilize activism; exploring social issues that stem from mental health to climate change to the representation of marginalized groups. The I Weigh with Jameela Jamil podcast launched in 2020 with Earwolf, in which Jameela spoke to a variety of thought-leaders, performers, activists, influencers, and friends about their own experiences and stories with their mental health. Her new movement, Move For Your Mind, works to democratize exercise and make it more accessible for all bodies, while promoting movement for mental health.
