ABOUT THE HOST: Luke Lamana is a Marine Corps veteran with nine years of dedicated service. Throughout his tenure, Luke embarked on five separate deployments to Southeast Asia, including several tours with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, all of which shaped his perspective of the world and foreign cultures, and deepened his understanding of the complexities of military operations. After transitioning to the Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC) to pursue a more advanced career path as an 8071 Signals Intelligence Special Operations Capability Specialist (SOCS-I) with the 1st Marine Raider Support Battalion at Camp Pendleton, California, a spine injury during pre-deployment training changed his fate, ultimately leading to his honorable discharge and medical retirement in 2017.
Despite the challenges of his injury and sudden transition back to civilian life, Luke's passion for military service and the bonds formed with his fellow veterans remained steadfast. His growing fascination with the mysterious and unexplained, inspired by his own and others’ encounters during training and deployments, became a driving force. As the host of REDACTED and Wartime Stories, Luke delves into the world of the dark, strange, and unexplained, drawing from his military experience and unwavering curiosity.
