Audacy Podcasts today announced that it has partnered with veteran sports analysts Dan Hanzus and Marc Sessler to handle sales and distribution for their popular, award-winning “Heed the Call NFL Podcast,” further solidifying Audacy’s position as a leader in sports audio content.
Hanzus and Sessler helped define the modern pro football podcasting landscape with their groundbreaking and globally beloved “Around The NFL” podcast. Now independent from the league, Hanzus and Sessler's voices are fully unleashed on "Heed the Call NFL Podcast,” home to their singular coverage of every league storyline with familiar friends, authentic analysis, and their trademark humor.
“Heed the Call NFL Podcast” will move to Audacy on September 1, 2025. Four new episodes will continue to be released weekly during the NFL season on YouTube and everywhere podcasts are available. Listen and follow the show here.

Sessler served as a reporter, commentator and long-form columnist for NFL Media. In 2024, Sessler and co-host Dan Hanzus launched the “Heed The Call” podcast on Underdog Fantasy. Previous stops include a string of semi-apocalyptic corporate jobs and hours logged for a financially yet untapped screenwriting certificate from UCLA. A graduate of American University, Sessler currently resides in Hollywood, California.
