Audacy launches podcast with serial entrepreneur Emma Grede
Audacy today announced the launch of “Aspire with Emma Grede,” a weekly audio and video podcast on which Grede — one of America’s richest self-made women — will share everything she’s learned building culture-defining brands and host thought-provoking conversations with some of the most successful and smartest minds on the planet.
Emma Grede is a serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a mother of four. She is the Founding Partner of SKIMS, Co-Founder and CEO of Good American, and is on the board of directors for the Obama Foundation.
“Aspire with Emma Grede” will launch with two episodes on Tuesday, May 6. New episodes will be released weekly on Tuesdays on Apple, Spotify, YouTube, the Audacy app, and everywhere podcasts are available. Watch the video trailer here. Listen to the trailer and follow the show here.
On the show, Grede will sit down with CEOs, founders, creatives, trailblazers and visionaries who will share the philosophies, personal stories, daily habits, data-driven advice and real-world strategies that have fueled their journeys to the top. Guests include goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow; billion-dollar businessman and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin; bestselling author and “On Purpose” host Jay Shetty; supermodel and entrepreneur Karlie Kloss; billionaire businessman and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban; radio personality and entrepreneur Charlamagne tha God; Co-CEO of Ariel Investments, investor, and philanthropist Mellody Hobson; and money expert, journalist and “Money Rehab” host Nicole Lapin.
“I’ve been thinking for a long time about how to scale mentorship and how I can share all of the incredible wisdom from everybody I’ve met throughout my career,” said Grede. “Podcasts as a medium are so broad, but there is still a very narrow perspective. I see an opportunity for a voice like mine—someone who has built from the ground up, made every mistake imaginable, and still come out thriving. I’m not here to sugarcoat things with toxic positivity or empty platitudes. I want to offer people a real, honest look under the hood, with practical insights and something meaningful to aspire to. I’m excited to partner with Audacy on this journey, and I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on.”
“Emma is a phenomenon – she’s a powerhouse in business, a trailblazing brand builder and has an incredibly smart and authentic point of view,” said Leah Reis-Dennis, Head of Podcasts, Audacy. “She’s the brilliant best friend or older sister you wish you had, and she’s on a mission to help people unlock their potential. We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with her to bring ‘Aspire’ to life.”
